The Client is a cutting-edge millimeter wave imaging system manufacturer that offers a product that permits “X-ray” vision into boxes of goods in supply chain applications. The Client was interested in adding analytics to the product. The business goal was to augment the current outputs to include identification and count of items within the scanned boxes to maximize the customers’ supply chain efficiencies.

 

By employing state-of-the-art 3D point cloud segmentation algorithms and deep learning techniques, we created an analytics module that successfully counts and identifies specific objects.
